Probably you’ve seen them on the streets, on photos, on TV’s or heard strange stories connected to them! People that felt so much into the deeps of the Japanese anime and manga so they’ve started to create costumes of their favorite characters and wear them on a special occasion. Cosplay is an imprescriptible and one of the most colorful part of the Japanese anime culture, and so consequently of our Festival. It is hard to believe, but every single qualitative costume demands considerable financial costs and sufficient amount of free time and affords.
You’ll be able to make sure in this when you’ll visit our theatrical performance with participation of the great number of cosplayers from all over Ukraine and neighbouring countries!
Cosplay-performance is a hours-long show, based on the main plot of the hosts and multitude different sketches made by cosplayers personally. The main theme of the Festival is the main plot during the cosplay-performance that combines all the sketches and participators.
If you want to be a part of the Performance:
1. You must conduct the application form till the 1st of September.
2. Are you making a sketch? You must provide: application, script, audio-video materials (if necessary), pictures of the characters and your photo in a costume.
3. Do you want to take part in cosplay-parade? You must provide: application, script, audio-video materials (if necessary), picture (s) of the character (s) and your photo in a costume.
4. You must understand that cosplay-performance is time-limited, so the amount of the accepted applications is limited.
5. Don’t forget about the time limit of the sketch in 8 minutes for teams and sketches, and 4 minutes for single performance
6. In case of any changes in your performance you should immediately tell about this to the organizers.
7. The entrance to the participators of Cosplay-show is free.
8. You should notify the organizers if you sketch had already been performed at other anime-events.
9. If you not follow the rules and demonstrate the neglected attitude — your request could be declined.
From their side the organizers solemnly swear that everybody (who passed the natural selection) will have a possibility to take part in the show! No one will be left behind or forgotten!
